I wish i had a photo of you and me.
But all i have is a memory.
I remember a street and a house,
But there are no detail.
I remember you could see the sea from,
the top of the hill, and the little restaurant
on the beach.
My memory is faint, but i am sure
We had sand between our toes.

I remember my heart was beating just for you.
I remember my love went deeper than deep.
And i remember my heart breaking when i had to leave.
Many years later and worlds apart,
You told me that your heart was also breaking.

We are grown up now, and we are so far away from each other.
Your life and my life are not the same,
But you are hurting and i cant take it away.
I am blessed to have found you again,
even when we only have a text to communicate.
